Arik T. Benari

Arik was born and raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania and proudly pursued his entire education in Pennsylvania. A graduate of Akiba Academy in Merion Station, Arik attended the University of Pittsburgh undergraduate program. He graduated with honors in three years with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Public Argument.

Arik entered the business management world during his undergraduate studies with experience managing union labor in the wholesale and retail industries. He then managed and drove the opening of two retail start-ups during the two years between his undergraduate and legal studies.

In 2000, Arik graduated from the Temple University School of Law. Arik was a proud member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a managing member of the Intellectual Property Law Students Association, the Barrister‘s Club, and was President of the Jewish Law Student‘s Association. Arik started his career as in-house counsel for a local technology company where he focused on private equity funding programs, as well as all the day-to-day legal needs of a growing technology company. In late 2001, Arik launched a private practice in Media, Pennsylvania and has been practicing throughout the Philadelphia region ever since.

Kevin M. Wray

Kevin graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1986. Following graduation, Kevin worked in Washington, DC for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan of New York, Representative Frank Pallone of New Jersey and Senator Harris Wofford of Pennsylvania. Following his work on Capitol Hill, he worked as a political consultant in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and as an editor for a weekly newspaper on the Main Line of Philadelphia.

Starting in 1995, Kevin began working as a complex litigation paralegal in Philadelphia. As a paralegal at Berger Montague PC, Kevin served as the chief paralegal for Connecticut’s anti-trust lawsuit against the tobacco industry. In 1998, he served in a similar capacity for Duane Morris LLP, which served as lead counsel for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s lawsuit against the tobacco companies.

In 1999, Kevin was admitted to the Evening Division Program at Widener University School of Law in Delaware and completed his J.D. while working full-time as a paralegal. Despite his busy academic schedule or work schedule, Kevin found time to join the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society and represented Widener Law School’s Delaware Campus in national and local mock trial competitions.

After graduating from law school, Kevin worked as a contract attorney for a multi-national pharmaceutical company and several law firms, Kevin began a full-time practice in Delaware County in December 2006 focusing on criminal defense.

Daniel A. Pallen

Daniel A. Pallen, Esq., graduated from Boston College in 2002. Prior to attending law school at the Dickinson School of Law, he earned a Masters Degree from American University in Washington, DC. He earned his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2007 and became a member of the Pennsylvania Bar in the same year. Prior to joining The Ben-Ari Law Firm, Mr. Pallen formerly practiced civil litigation an associate with a insurance defense litigation firm in Blue Bell, PA. Prior thereto, Mr. Pallen had practiced law as a Public Defender in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Pallen is a member of the Delaware, Montgomery, and Franklin County bar associations. He is also licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. Mr. Pallen has volunteered as a teacher with the Philadelphia Bar Association's "Advancing Civics Education Program." He has also orally argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Mr. Pallen's practice at The Ben-Ari Law Firm is primarily civil. His specialties include: civil litigation, corporate litigation, wills & estates, family law, premises liability, insurance defense, subrogation, real estate transactions, appeals, and criminal law.

Christian M. Scheuerman

Christian M. Scheuerman, Esq., graduated from Colgate University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Chris was a member of Colgate’s Division I varsity lacrosse team. After graduating from Colgate, Chris worked as a financial planner at a Fortune 500 financial firm where he earned multiple performance awards. Chris obtained his law degree from Vermont Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude and 10th in the class in 2007.

Immediately following law school, Chris completed a year long clerkship in the New Jersey Superior Court with the Hon. E. David Millard, Presiding Judge of the Family Part, before moving to private practice. Prior to joining the Benari Law Firm, Chris was an associate attorney with a litigation firm in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Jacobs & Barbone, P.A. There he gained invaluable litigation experience arguing motions and trying cases in the criminal, civil, and family divisions of the New Jersey Superior Court; preparing briefs and arguing appeals in New Jersey’s appellate court; and participating in Federal Court appeals.

Chris is licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. At the Benari Law Firm, Chris’ primary focus is criminal, civil, and family litigation.

Keith A. Harbison

Keith Harbison, Esquire, received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1989 and his law degree from Widener Law School in 1994. While at Widener Law School, Mr. Harbison was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Immediately upon graduation from law school, Mr. Harbison worked as an associate at the law firm of Rendine & McConeghy in Philadelphia, PA where he represented individuals in the areas of civil and criminal law until 2000 when he left to join the law firm of Solomon, Berschler, Warren, Schatz and Flood in Norristown, PA. Mr. Harbison worked as an associate at Solomon, Berschler, Warren, Schatz, Flood & Monaghan from December 2000 until March 2008 at which time he left to form the law office of Consolo & Harbison.

Keith Harbison currently practices in the areas of criminal and civil law. Mr. Harbison routinely represents individuals in the areas of criminal law, both juvenile and adult offenses, which includes individuals charged with DUI, drug offenses, probation and parole violations, assault, theft, sex offenses, drivers' license suspensions and traffic tickets. Mr. Harbison also represents individuals who are injured in motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, and assaults. In addition, Mr. Harbison practices in the areas of family law, real estate, landlord-tenant law, and contract law. Mr. Harbison has been effectively representing clients before judges, juries and arbitration panels in Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks, Berks, Chester and Delaware counties since 1994.

Mr. Harbison is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Harbison is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Montgomery County Bar Association.

Michael Maroto

Like many of the Firm’s attorneys, Mr. Maroto brings a multi-faceted approach to his cases and draws upon a solid understanding of legal, financial and tax issues germane in today’s complex litigation matters. Throughout his entire career, he has specialized in business and financial issues and how those issues relate to a client’s pending legal action. Because of his unique back-ground, Mr. Maroto is involved in many of the Firm’s complex litigation and business matters.

Mr. Maroto primarily concentrates his attention on the Firm’s growing family, business and estate law areas of practice and caters to those clients whose cases present problems of intricacy, scale, or even the possibility of fraud. As an attorney with over 15 years of business and legal experience, he has developed in-depth skills at the valuation, negotiation, and litigation of property divisions involving high net worth individuals, their lucrative executive compensation packages and their business assets. In addition, Mr. Maroto has several years of commercial legal experience with an emphasis on structuring and negotiating stock and asset purchase agreements, as well as the analysis and resolution of a variety of commercial, securities, and tax issues. He has substantial experience in the valuation of privately-held businesses for the purposes of capital raises, stock transfers, financial structuring, sale and litigation.

Currently, Mr. Maroto is a member of the United States District Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Delaware County Bar Association and is also a registered agent of the National Association of Securities Dealers. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Maroto attended Widener University in Pennsylvania where he received a Juris Doctor degree, with distinction, from Widener’s Delaware School of Law as well as a M.B.A. from the Widener Graduate School of Business.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Maroto was involved in the corporate and investment banking field where he focused exclusively on the purchase and sale of privately-held companies.

Noa Zilbering
